The Valley star Danny Booko posted an apology to his wife Nia Sanchez on his Instagram Stories on Wednesday, May 20

Booko and Sanchez were seen fighting in recent episodes of the Bravo reality show, with Booko accusing his wife of not being supportive

The apology came the same night that Booko dropped out of an appearance on Andy Cohen's Watch What Happens Live, but the host said it was nothing more than a scheduling conflict

The Valley star Danny Booko is publicly apologizing to his wife Nia Sanchez after the pair was seen fighting in recent episodes of the Bravo show.

"To the person I love most, my beautiful wife, I am so sorry," Booko, 42, wrote in an Instagram Stories post on Wednesday, May 20. "Watching these last few episodes back hasn't been easy. It was a difficult season of life and a version of myself that l'm embarrassed by and not proud of."

Booko went on to cite "a short fuse, stress, alcohol and lack of sleep" as fuel for arguing with Sanchez over a drag competition on the show, noting that these factors were still "not an excuse" for his behavior.

"I should never have taken any of it out on you," Booko continued. "Balancing parenthood and life can stretch you in ways you don't fully realize until you see yourself through a different lens. I love, honor, and respect you deeply, and I did not show that in some of these moments."

The couple welcomed their fourth baby, Adelaide, in June 2025. They also share toddler Asher and twins Isabelle and Zariah, who arrived on Father’s Day 2023.

Booko continued his message and said he is "grateful" for Sanchez and "our family, and this beautiful, chaotic life we've built together."

"I thank God for you every day," he concluded.

The apology came amid Booko canceling his appearance on Andy Cohen's Watch What Happens Live, though Cohen said in Wednesday's episode that he dropped out due to a scheduling conflict, and was replaced by his The Valley co-star Tom Schwartz for the evening.

After wrapping their first season of The Valley in 2024, the couple opened up to PEOPLE about surviving the “reality show curse” of divorces following reality stars, saying they are mindful of the toll filming can take on them.

“I think that we've always said that we're going to continue to check in with each other, and our relationship is most important — way more than a show,” Sanchez said at the time. “So as long as we feel solid, we'll move forward.”

The former Miss USA continued: “And if we feel like, ‘Oh, we need to make sure we're solid, we're not there yet,’ then we're not going to move forward and we'll just take care of our relationship first. Always.”

New episodes of The Valley air on Bravo on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET.
