Snoop Dogg is sharing support for his daughter amid family tragedy.

The rapper and musician, 54, seemed to address the death of his 10-month-old granddaughter, Codi Dreaux, in an Instagram post Jan. 31 expressing love for his daughter Cori Broadus, 26, the baby's mother.

Snoop shared a photo of himself with Cori as well as his sons, Corde, 31, and Cordell, 28, with simply the heart and prayer hands emoji as the caption. Cordell shared similar family support on his Instagram stories, reposting the same family photo with the caption "Lil sis, we got you forever."

Broadus shared earlier the same day that she had lost her daughter, writing on Instagram stories, "Monday, I lost the love of my life. My Codi," alongside an angel wing emoji and a black and white photo of herself and the baby.

In December 2024, Broadus announced that she was pregnant with a baby girl, but in February 2025 announced that Codi was born prematurely at 25 weeks and was in the neo-natal intensive care unit, or NICU.

"I’ve cried and cried, I’ve compared and compared, blaming myself that I wasn’t able to give her all that she needed," Broadus wrote when announcing the birth. "Thank You God for getting me this far no matter the odds that are constantly thrown against me." She went on to share that she was diagnosed with HELLP syndrome, which stands for Hemolysis Elevated Liver enzymes and Low Platelets. According to the Mayo Clinic, "This severe form of preeclampsia affects several organ systems. HELLP syndrome is life-threatening to the mother and baby, and it may cause lifelong health problems for the mother." Clinicians often recommend immediate delivery when pregnant people are diagnosed with HELLP syndrome, even before full-term.

Codi spent 10 months in the NICU before coming home with Broadus in early January 2026. "Thank you for every prayer, every message, every ounce of love. God heard them all," she wrote on the caption of a photo of herself and Codi snuggling in bed.

Broadus' fiancé and Codi's father, Wayne Deuce, also shared the news of Codi's death on Instagram, with a message of grief and love. “I been the saddest since u left me Codi Dreaux. But I know u at peace. Daddy will always love you,” he wrote on his stories, alongside a photo of him holding his daughter.
