When Pippa Middleton and James Matthewstied the knot on May 20, 2017, all eyes were on the bride — and two adorable royal members of her wedding party.

Kate Middleton's sister and the financier got engaged in England's Lake District in July 2016 and wed in a private ceremony at St. Mark's Church in Englefield, England.

Pippa was a stunning bride in a custom silk cotton lace gown by Giles Deacon, which featured a cap sleeve, high neckline and corseted bodice with draping to the front and a heart-shaped detail at the back, and Manolo Blahnik ivory satin pumps with pearl detailing. She wore her dark brunette locks in a classic updo, topped with a bespoke fine-tulle, cathedral-length veil embroidered with pearls, designed by milliner Stephen Jones.

In attendance were Kate and her husband, Prince William, as well as their two older children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, who served as page boy and bridesmaid, respectively. (Prince Louis didn't join the family until April 2018.) Prince Harry also attended the ceremony, among other friends and family.

"This is the wedding Pippa and James dreamed of," a close source told PEOPLE at the time. "They said all along they wanted it to be a private family wedding at home in the beautiful countryside with their closest friends and family."

The happy couple has since welcomed three children, son Arthur and daughters Grace and Rose.

As Pippa and James celebrate their ninth wedding anniversary, take a look back at the gorgeous pictures from their big day.
