The Prince of Wales experienced an "I told you so" moment following Prince Harry's return to the UK, according to reports. Harry, alongside his wife Meghan and children Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, moved back from California two weeks ago.
The Sussexes' unexpected return, having been based in the US since 2020 after stepping back as senior working royals, has generated significant media attention. Prince William has maintained a tense relationship with his brother in recent years.
Sources indicate the future King harbored concerns that Harry and Meghan's UK homecoming might reignite previous tensions. The news follows Harry and Meghan not being on the guest list for a posh wedding, as only William and Kate were invited.

A source told Us magazine, "There was cautious optimism that perhaps they would arrive in silent dignity and not stir up drama, but William was much less optimistic than the King and was proven right because right now he's having an 'I told you so' moment."
The insider claimed William has not spoken to Harry, stating, "William also hasn't gotten over all the stress that Harry and Meghan caused leading up to Kate's cancer diagnosis," reports the Express.

On Monday, the King confirmed the Sussexes continue to hold private citizen status despite their homecoming. The correspondence from royal aide Lord Benyon, whose department handles the King's ceremonial and public engagements, clarified that the Duke and Duchess do not utilize their HRH titles and any security matters concerning them should be referred to the appropriate police authorities.
It is understood Harry and Meghan were taken aback by the correspondence.
The details were communicated to the couple's representatives approximately an hour before being disclosed to the press, it is believed.
Harry and Meghan are "happy to be back" in the UK, according to reports.
It is claimed that getting Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet settled "remains their focus". Both have begun the new academic year in Britain.
