Prince Harry was almost set up with Kourtney Kardashian in the summer of 2016.
According to comedian Katherine Ryan, she came up with the idea when she ran into Kardashian and Harry's cousin Princess Beatrice at a party.
It's unclear whether the two ever actually met or spoke to one another, however.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle famously fell in love in Botswana after two back-to-back dates in London in the summer of 2016. Just before their meet-cute, however, the duke almost got set up with another TV star: Kourtney Kardashian. The idea apparently occurred to comedian Katherine Ryan when she ran into Kardashian and Harry's cousin Princess Beatrice at a party.
“I walked in and saw Kourtney Kardashian with Princess Beatrice,” Ryan recalled, per Hello!. “I went straight over to her because I knew who she was. I’m so invested in the Kardashians and their reality show.”

In 2016, if you’ll remember, Kardashian was in an on-again-off-again relationship with Scott Disick, the father of her three oldest kids Mason, Penelope, and Reign. Harry, for his part, had two high-profile relationships prior to 2016: Chelsy Davy, whom he dated off-and-on from 2004 to 2011, and Cressida Bonas, whom he dated from 2012 to 2014.

At the party, Ryan said she turned to Kardashian and said, “You need to leave Scott,” to which the reality star responded, “How can I? He’s in my house right now.”

“I told her, ‘Don’t go back to the house. You need to leave him,’” Ryan continued. Kardashian then asked her who she could even date instead, to which Ryan responded, “Prince Harry, maybe?”

“[Kardashian] was right there in the U.K.,” Ryan explained. “It seemed obvious.”
It’s unclear what happened next—or if Harry and Kourtney ever met or even spoke to one another. Harry and Meghan met shortly thereafter and subsequently began their whirlwind romance. The duo got engaged the following November and tied the knot on May 19, 2018.

Kardashian, for her part, did eventually part ways with Disick and has since found love again with Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker. The couple welcomed their first child together, a son named Rocky, in 2023.
