Nick Viall and his wife, Natalie Joy Viall, are gearing up to grow their family by welcoming a set of twins.

While at Vulture's Inaugural Reality Masterminds Celebration at New York City's The Lawn Club on Thursday, May 7, Nick, 45, told PEOPLE exclusively that getting to be a father is an experience that's "hard to replicate."

"Just being a dad has been the most rewarding part of my life," said The Viall Files podcaster, who welcomed daughter River Rose with Natalie in February 2024. "I mean, it really — my daughter and my wife really make me feel validated and needed in a way that I think is hard to replicate in any other aspect of life."

Nick added, "That's just been my personal experience, and so I hope it's more of that. Certainly, I think there will be a lot of hectic days, but I'm really grateful."

As for whether Nick and Natalie, 27, have picked out names for their soon-to-be twins, he tells PEOPLE they have a "good" set of options at the moment.

"I think we do," Nick said. "You never know if we'll stick with them, but I think we feel good about what we have so far."

Nick also praised his wife for "crushing it" and "doing great" as a mom.

The couple first met in 2019 after Natalie slid into the former reality star's DMs. “If I really thought he would end up being my husband and the father of my children, I probably would have put more thought into it and been funny or witty,” she told Bustle in January 2025.

Nick was hesitant to pursue a relationship with Natalie as she lived in Savannah, Ga., at the time — but she didn't give up.

“I just knew the whole time that we would work and that we would be compatible,” she told The New York Times in April 2024. “I genuinely always knew it was him, and I just knew he would come around at some point.”

Natalie moved to Los Angeles in 2020, and she and Nick got engaged in 2023. They tied the knot in April 2024.

"Natalie and I very much have intertwined our life," Nick told PEOPLE in 2024 after they wed. "We're fully diving into us. If nothing else, this solidifies that we do everything together and thankfully enjoy doing it."

The pair announced in February that Natalie was pregnant. The happy update came after Natalie suffered multiple miscarriages.

"Sadly, Natalie experienced another miscarriage. It is her third this year, our third this year. There's no really good way to say, it f---ing sucks,” Nick said on a 2025 episode of The Viall Files.

After Natalie found out she was pregnant with twins, the couple shared that they are expecting two girls. "Right after we found out that we were having girls... I was coming down our stairway, and River was looking up at me," Nick recalled on his podcast. "And Natalie's mom said, 'Just imagine … soon, you'll have three little girls looking up at you.' And it just melted my heart. It's going to be great.”

"She's definitely running out of real estate," Nick told PEOPLE about where Natalie is in her pregnancy journey currently. "I think she's ready to go. She has a little bit of time left, but overall, I mean, I'm so proud of her, and I don't know how anyone is able to do that. I have so much respect for all women who have to endure that. To have a front-row seat to that is truly remarkable. She's an amazing mom, and she really gives her heart and soul."

Nick, who previously starred on The Bachelor, hosted the first season of Netflix's Age of Attraction alongside Natalie. The reality show matches contestants, who range in age from 22 to 59, without them knowing how old the other person actually is.

"This is a show that allows people to just meet people [by] getting rid of some of those preconceived notions and barriers, and focus on 'Is there chemistry? Is there compatibility?' " Nick said in a July 2025 interview with E! News. "That was something that was really exciting for us because we obviously relate to that."

Natalie added, "We obviously have an age gap, and it's something that has been talked about, whether good, whether bad. This is something that going into it — it's a bright light on age differences and relationships with age differences."

Over the years, the couple has been candid about their own 18-year age gap. "At first, it was something I was having a lot of anxiety about," Nick said in a 2022 episode of Call Her Daddy. "Like, 'Are we going to be compatible?' Early on, that was part of the things I would worry about."

"We realized we were on the same stages of life and we were ready for the same things,” Natalie explained on the podcast. “I'm in a place where I want to get married and have children, and he's also in that same place. We both have big careers and aspirations and jobs and stuff that we both love."
