Lori Loughlin, Candace Cameron Bure and More Reunite on Late Bob Saget's 70th Birthday: 'We Miss You Every Day'

Bob Saget’s loved ones came together to celebrate what would have been his 70th birthday.

Over the weekend, friends and family of the late Full House star gathered for an emotional birthday celebration hosted alongside his widow, Kelly Rizzo, with several attendees sharing glimpses from the night on social media.

Candace Cameron Bure posted photos from the gathering, including a chocolate birthday cake decorated with “Happy Birthday Bob!” and candles shaped like the number 70.

“Celebrated Bob’s 70th birthday last night,” Bure wrote on Instagram. “We miss you every day. You’re still making us laugh. Go tell someone you love them and give them a big hug today.”

One photo showed Bure posing alongside fellow Full House alum Lori Loughlin and Rizzo as the trio smiled together during the celebration.

Rizzo later reshared the post to her Instagram Stories, adding her own message about the evening.

“So beyond grateful we could all be together last night,” she wrote. “That’s the most I felt that Bob was in that room with us in a long time… It was so beautiful.”

John Mayer also appeared to attend the gathering, posting a photo of Saget’s birthday cake surrounded by framed pictures of the comedian and a tribute that read, “Happy Heavenly 70th Birthday, Bob Saget. We continue to love you.”

John Stamos shared his own heartfelt tribute to Saget on Instagram. Stamos posted what he described as the “last pic” he ever took with his longtime friend before Saget’s death in January 2022. The image showed the pair posing with their wives, Caitlin McHugh and Rizzo, in front of the ocean at sunset.

“We used to throw each other great birthday parties. Your 70th today would’ve been epic! I miss you and love you,” Stamos wrote.

Saget and Stamos famously starred together on Full House from 1987 to 1995 before reprising their beloved roles on Fuller House.

Saget died on Jan. 9, 2022, after he was found dead in his hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando, Fla. He was 65. One month later, his family confirmed the comedian died from head trauma.
