Lainey Wilson opened up about getting married to Devlin "Duck" Hodges during her busy music season in an interview at the 61st Academy of Country Music Awards
Wilson and Hodges tied the knot on May 10, just weeks after the singer headlined the Stagecoach Music Festival
“I'm like, as long as I got my phone, my keys, my wallet, my man, I'm good," she said
Lainey Wilson has been busy!
The country singer, 33, opened up about getting married to former NFL player Devlin "Duck" Hodges during her busy music season while chatting with cohosts Kelly Sutton and Amber Anderson at Amazon Music’s 61st Academy of Country Music Awards Red Carpet Show on Sunday, May 17.
Wilson and Hodges tied the knot on May 10 in Dickson, Tenn. About two weeks before, on April 25, the "Hang Tight Honey" singer headlined the Stagecoach Music Festival in Indio, Calif. She's now attending the 2026 ACM Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, where she received seven nominations, including Entertainer of the Year.
When asked about squeezing in her wedding between Stagecoach and the awards show, she said she’s “always just trying to keep my head screwed on straight.”

“I was like, we gotta find a window,” Wilson said. “I'm like, as long as I got my phone, my keys, my wallet, my man, I'm good.”

Wilson and Hodges started dating in 2021. Two years later, at the ACM Awards in May 2023, they went public with their relationship.

The singer announced her engagement to the real estate agent on Instagram in February 2025.
Wilson told PEOPLE in April that Hodges is “just that place that I get to come home to and fill my cup back up.”
“He makes me want to be a better person,” she said. “We’re a good team.”

Wilson received ACM nominations for Entertainer of the Year, Female Artist of the Year, Single of the Year, Music Event of the Year and Visual Media of the Year, as well as artist and songwriter nods for Song of the Year.
The 61st Academy of Country Music Awards, hosted by Shania Twain, are streaming live on Prime Video from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
