Drew Barrymore is officially closing the door on her New York country home.

The Academy Award nominee, 51, has found a buyer for her Harrison, New York, home less than 2 months after putting it on the market.

Barrymore listed the six-bedroom, nine-bathroom Westchester County home for $4.9 million at the end of March, just two years after purchasing the property for $4.4 million.

Though the final price was not disclosed, its listing has been to indicate that the property's sale is "pending", meaning an offer has been accepted.

First built in 1748, the 5,600-square-foot home features large windows flooding the property with light. Outside, there's a large pool and a pool house with an additional bedroom.

In a March interview with the Wall Street Journal, the actress said she felt a "spiritual calling" to the property.

“I walked in and I was, like, ‘I know my family's been here. I know that I have to work on this house. I know that I'm supposed to be doing this,'” said Barrymore, whose primary residence is in New York City. “It was like a strange, spiritual calling.”

She told WSJ that she loved that the home brought her closer to nature. “It's really like being in your own personal park,” she said. “There are tons of deer. There are pheasants, there are ducks, there are rabbits.”

Soon after buying it, the Charlie's Angels star quickly began an extensive renovation of the home, which sits on a 12-acre property.

But when she began the renovation, she was unaware of the amount of work the property needed. The home's plumbing, heating, and air conditioning were all replaced, and she revamped the ground floor to open up the kitchen, she told WSJ.

Barrymore opened the doors of the home in a March profile in Rue Magazine, where she revealed she came across the property while scrolling through Zillow.

“I had desperately wanted a place outside the city because I had been working for years at this point inside of a studio with no windows,” said the talk show host. “I'm from California and I just had this urge to find nature.”

The mom of two also said she believes you don't have to break the bank to make a space feel more high-end than it actually is.

“I really feel like a little bit of trim can elevate and make a room look so much more expensive without spending a lot of money. A little bit of hardware or minimalist accents that catch your eye—those things make it go from feeling manufactured and mass produced, to something that really feels found and elevated,” she explained, noting that spending “a lot of money on things” is not her “style.”
