Reality TV star and fashion designer Dorit Kemsley has made some serious allegations against her estranged husband and property developer Paul Kemsley. She alleged that Paul has been putting their children, namely Jagger and Phoenix, at risk of losing their home by refusing to pay the mortgage on the former marital home, from which he moved out after their separation.

Dorit and Paul, aka PK, had tied the knot in March 2015. They announced their split after nine years of marriage in May 2024, following which she filed for divorce from her estranged husband in April 2025, citing irreconcilable differences.

Dorit Kemsley Alleges That PK Had Initially Agreed to Pay the Mortgage

According to the court documents obtained by Page Six, the Unburdened author revealed that Paul informally agreed to pay the mortgage on their former Los Angeles home and cover other expenses when he moved out of the house in May 2024.

The documents revealed that the former couple had come to a financial understanding that the property developer would temporarily not be required to pay child or spousal support.

However, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star alleged that her ex did not honor the agreement after she received foreclosure notices. She lashed out at PK, claiming that he earns enough and has a sufficient net worth to pay the mortgage.

Dorit Kemsley pointed out that her estranged husband earns $2 million per year, in addition to income from other sources, along with having around $435,000 in the bank.

Claiming that Paul has “ample flow of cash”, the court filing stated, “Just as PK refuses to pay child and spousal support, he also refuses to pay the mortgage.” The statement further said, “Instead, he would prefer to divert his cash on hand to his own personal use.”

According to the court documents, the Celebrity Family Feud star also alleged that Paul was “weaponizing” the mortgage dispute to render his wife and children homeless and asked the court to deny his request to sell the house.

Paul Alleges Dorit Spent Nearly $1 Million on Luxury Items

Not only this, but Dorit Kemsley also rubbished the allegations made by her ex that she has been splurging around $1 million on luxurious designer items instead of contributing to the mortgage.

The fashion designer clarified that she spent around $713,000 over the span of 26 months on wardrobe expenditures for the shooting of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Instead, Dorit alleged that her estranged husband is a humongous spendthrift with quite the extravagant taste when it comes to splurging. The court documents allege that Paul Kemsley has spent over $756,000 in recent months.

This includes $360,000 on travel, $55,500 on designer outfits, $75,000 on lavish dining, $160,000 on Zelle payments, and cash withdrawals of $103,000.

The filing stated, “PK’s motive is obvious: he is looking to fund his outrageous personal spending.” Apart from the mortgage payments, Dorit also wants Paul to pay $21,086 per month for child support, $22,330 per month for spousal support, and around $347,328 in retroactive child and spousal support payments.

However, in his filing, Paul Kemsley claimed that he already covered the mortgage and payments for a significant period of time and wanted Dorit to also contribute in the same manner. He further alleged that their former marital home faces an upcoming foreclosure auction deadline.
