Get ready to Call Her Mommy.
Alex Cooper has announced that she and her husband, Matt Kaplan, are expecting their first baby together.
The *Call Her Daddy* host and Unwell Network mogul shared the news with a series of social media posts, beginning with a sly tease, on Sunday.
"Daddy Gang, there is something I've been waiting to share with you…" Cooper, 31, wrote in an Instagram Stories slide. What followed were two photos of Cooper sitting in Kaplan's lap, smiling and laughing while cradling her baby bump. They were captioned, "Our family."

In an additional post, Cooper wrote, "Honestly happy I can finally stop trying to hide the bump lol."
Cooper and Kaplan began dating in the summer of 2020 after crossing paths professionally. They tied the knot four years later in a private beachside wedding in Riviera Maya, Mexico, in April 2024.

The reveal that they're expecting comes two months after Bloomberg News reported that Kaplan, who runs Unwell with Cooper, "frequently" yells at staff members, with the story citing "people familiar with the company's operations." Neither Cooper nor Kaplan addressed the report.

As for the baby news, though Cooper held the announcement for the first few months of her pregnancy, the podcaster is well known for being candid when it comes to details of her life and has built her media empire around crafting a raw, unfiltered space for women. To that end, Cooper has previously opened up about wanting to have children. In a particularly vulnerable 2025 episode of *Call Her Daddy*, titled "I'm Not Ready for a Baby," she revealed that she and Kaplan decided to start trying for a baby in 2024.
"We were just so excited and ready," she told listeners.
But Cooper then recounted struggling with "extreme vertigo and dizziness" when she stopped taking birth control, prompting the couple to "put a pause on getting pregnant." She said that during that period, she realized that she didn't want to "slow down" a busy and successful moment in her career by having a baby.

"I eventually realized I wasn't ready," she admitted. "And even when I got to feeling healthier again, as nice as that was, it didn't make me want to rush and have a baby. Instead, it made me more anxious, because I should have felt ready, and I felt so frustrated with myself, and I felt guilty."

Cooper said she ultimately decided that she wanted to wait until she was feeling more "present" and "capable"to become a mom. She added that Kaplan was nothing but supportive, noting that he told her, "when it is the right time, it will be the right time."
She added, "I know he's going to be the most incredible father to our babies."**
