From foul call debates, media controversies, online player abuse, and All-Star weekend drama over something as simple as her hair, Caitlin Clark continues to receive the short end of the stick despite being one of the WNBA's biggest draws.

Clark was left off Team USA's training camp roster last season, not included on the WNBA's 30th anniversary poster, and missed out on the 2026 ESPYS Best WNBA Player ballot.

The Fever star is also missing from ESPN's new documentary, which was announced the day after All-Star weekend in Chicago ended.

Meanwhile, Clark's fanbase was split after her conversation with former President Barack Obama was analyzed by lip readers.

Clark was not mentioned in ESPN's announcement for its new six-part docuseries, Life in the W, even though being central to the league's record attendance, viewership, and social media buzz.

The series debuted during All-Star weekend and follows A'ja Wilson (Las Vegas Aces), Napheesa Collier (Minnesota Lynx), and DeWanna Bonner (Phoenix Mercury) through the 2025 WNBA season.

Wilson is a four-time WNBA MMP and three-time champion, Collier is a union vice president and perennial MVP candidate, and Bonner is one of the league's most effective veterans.

All three have made headlines for their interactions with Clark. Wilson has talked about protecting the league's history during the Clark media surge and has also praised Clark for recognizing the privilege that comes with her race and popularity.

Collier criticized commissioner Cathy Engelbert and said she told WNBA stars and Clark to "thank their lucky stars" for the WNBA platform.

Clark later backed Collier for her valid points and noted that "Phee said it all."

Bonner has had several tense on-court moments with Clark, and her wife Alyssa Thomas was part of one of the year's biggest incidents involving Clark and her throat. The Fever star addressed feeling emotional exhaustion while addressing instances with the media.

A Mercury-Fever game last June included a physical clash with Bonner and a scuffle that led to six technical fouls. Clark called the officiating ridiculous. Her teammate Sophie Cunningham pointed at the officials in a moment that stood out in her career.

The WNBA series is executive produced by showrunner Trishtan Williams, Eliza Johnston, LeBron James, and others through the NBA star's Uninterrupted production company.

Clark paused her All-Star press conference when she learned about LeBron's move to the Philadelphia 76ers. She also said that James consistently supported her during her offseason rehab after she missed 31 games last season.

It comes as Angel Reese's boyfriend responded after the WNBA All-Star Game as she was ruthlessly mocked.
