Someone turn on the AC at the *Summer House*.

Things are heating up around the already controversial, newly revealed relationship between Amanda Batula and West Wilson, who star on the Bravo reality series. The pair confirmed their romance on Tuesday, following Batula's recent split from husband Kyle Cooke and the very public dissolution of Wilson's relationship with their costar and Batula's friend, Ciara Miller.

Now, the stars of *The Valley *have even more tea to add.

"Well, I will say that one of our friend's cousins was on a vacation, and met Jesse Solomon," cast member Zach Wickham revealed in a cast interview on SiriusXM's *Smith Sisters Live*, to air on Thursday. Solomon, a breakout star of *Summer House*, apparently told this distant connection of Wickham's "everything" about the Batula-Wilson romance, "and then she told me. So I'm like, if what he told her is real, then brace yourselves, America."

Other *Valley *cast members weighed in, like Brittany Cartwright, who shared her belief that Batula and Cooke "were broken up far before the world knew. So, I don't think that it was a cheating thing."

Jasmine Goode clarified that the point of contention for many around the Batula-Wilson romance isn't the Batula-Cooke breakup, but Batula's friendship with Miller, Wilson's ex. "Amanda and Ciara are besties. Can you imagine confiding in somebody and telling all this stuff about Wilson and all of a sudden you go hook up with them? Like, that's kind of messy," she said, adding, "Sorry, auntie Ciara."

Rumors began to fly about a potential love connection between Batula and Wilson as early as January, but gossip blog DeuxMoi majorly fanned the flames on March 5, with a social media post alleging the pair had confirmed their relationship to friends.

Batula decided to stop the rumor mill in its tracks on Tuesday with an Instagram Story post, jointly authored by Wilson.

"We've seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity," she wrote. "It was never our intention to purposely hide anything. Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it."

Batula confirmed their relationship "developed recently" out of the "highs and lows" of a years-long friendship, and ended by expressing gratitude for the public's "understanding and respect as we navigate this."
